| Questionable ebay seller This appears to be a clear case of shill bidding/bid manipulation. Look at this auction: green and orange IROC chassis There was a late bidder who jumped in at the last moment to apparently ’snipe’ this auction. The late bidder won the auction but in doing so, he exposed what the previous high bid was. That itself wouldn’t raise many red flags except for the following: 8344slotcity ’relisted’ this set on 4/3 with a BIN of $125.88, which was the sniped losing bid. To say this looks ’weird’ is an understatement. 8344slotcity is Martin Acero. He also goes by Martin Joseph. So as it appears to me, Martin ran up the bid on auction 222894779253 so that he could expose the high bid and relist at that price. Many of 8344slotcity’s auctions are BIN, but for those that arent’t, I’d be willing to bet that there is a pattern of shill bidding on 8344slotcity auctions.
